RYT 200

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by to learn a bit more about me.

Teaching yoga, breath, movement and connection is something that was completely foreign to me 5+ years ago and has now become my life.

In September of 2024 I decided to obtain my yoga teacher certification, as a way of trying to find a way to transition out of working in food and beverage - an industry I have been a part of for over 10 years.

What started as what I now see as a slightly clouded and frankly desperate attempt at escaping has so graciously presented me with a set of tools to which help prop up the core pillars of my life.

I have been teaching since 2025. In that time, the conversations, the lessons, the moments of unexpected connection and growth, have been more nuanced and encouraging than I could have imagined. With the inspiration of my wonderful students and the creativity and support of my partner Earl, tranquil.yoga is a vision I am finally able to bring forward.

Teaching yoga is one of my greatest privileges — the ability to constantly grow as both teacher and student. I am so looking forward to sharing a bit of life’s journey with you.

my approach

Every session at tranquil.yoga begins with one simple intention: to meet you exactly where you are. Not where you think you should be, not where you were last week — here, in this moment, as you are now.

The practice is not about forcing the body into shapes or the mind into stillness. It's about creating enough awareness to notice what is taking place within you and around you. Through intentional movement, breath work, meditation, and mindfulness, we follow what this moment is actually calling for as we listen and explore.

What I hope you carry with you isn't a perfect pose or a peak experience. It's a deeper sense of yourself — a quiet awareness that extends beyond the mat, into how you move through your relationships, your days, and the world around you.

That is the practice. And it begins the moment you walk in.
